Del Rey announced four manga launches for Fall at last weekend's New York Comic Con.

Shiki Tsuki will launch first on August 28th as it tells the story of the 'Keepers of the Seasons,' a group entrusted with defending the universe's natural order.  Shiki Tsuki is written by Toru Zeku and features artwork by Yuna Takanagi.

Next up is Ryotaku Iwanaga's Pumpkin Scissors, which launches on September 25th.  This military manga looks into the process of rebuilding a war-torn nation.  Del Rey Associate Publisher Dallas Middaugh told ICv2 the series has a successful Japanese anime which should come stateside.

'We've acquired that one in anticipation of the demand we see coming for it,' Middaugh said.

From Yuya Aoka, the writer of Get Backers, and artist Akinari Noa, comes the October 30th release of Psycho Busters.  This story follows a group of psychic-powered-teenage-renegades as they engage in a cat and mouse game with the authorities who are trying to control them.

'Because Get Backers is an excellent manga, it sold very well, we have very high hopes for Psycho Busters as well,' Middaugh said.

Getting much love from the Del Rey camp is Aventura, which launches on November 27th.  As a show of support for the Shin Midorikawa-written and drawn story, Del Rey created a special trailer for the series which they debuted at the New York Comic Con.

Middaugh said all of these series are ongoing in Japan.

These latest Del Rey announcements of new Kodansha titles will come on the tail of this summer's three launches (see 'ICv2 News - Del Rey Adds 3 New Manga Series').
