Vertical has announced its fall releases, including new offerings from Osamu Tezuka, Keiko Takemiya, and others.

Tezuka, creator of the award-winning Buddha series and upcoming Apollo's Song (see 'Vertical to Publish Tezuka's 'Apollo's Song'') from Vertical (among many others over the years), presents MW (pronounced mu) where circumstances bring together the unlikely union (and forbidden love) between an amoral banker and a guilt-ridden priest who witness the destruction of a small village and the subsequent governmental cover-up.  MW ($24.95) is suitable for ages 16 and up, will be approximately 600 pages and is scheduled for release in October.

Andromeda Stories, by Takemiya, author of To Terra (see 'Vertical to Publish 'To Terra''), is a man vs. machine tale where the only hope for the humans lies with twin  princes, separated at birth.   Each volume of Andromeda Stories will be about 200 pages with a $13.95 cover price. Volume 1 is scheduled for September, Volume 2 in December and Volume 3 in spring 08.

Vertical will also offer The Guin Saga Manga: The Seven Magi, Volume 1, by Kaoru Kurimoto in November, the first in a three-volume series about an evil dragon and seven magi, based on the Guin Saga.  Each volume will be approximately 200 pages and retail for $12.95.
