Del Rey Manga's Avril Lavigne's Make 5 Wishes (see 'Del Rey's First American Manga') has gone back to press after only four days on sale (in bookstores, Diamond ships the title to comic stores this week). 

The album packaging of Lavigne's The Best Damn Thing, which drops today, promotes the manga.  The media blitz surrounding the album release is just kicking off, and will include SNL, GMA, and Letterman appearances for Lavigne.  With the initial response and the promotion for the manga surrounding the album release, there's good potential for this series to reach the upper ranks of American manga titles.
