The Rude Dude Productions offering for Free Comic Book Day is the first Mike Baron/Steve Rude Nexus issue in ten years, FCBD Nexus (or Nexus 98-1/2).  The 32-page book includes excerpts from key past issues, with Baron's comments on why they're included; background info on the characters; plus the cover and first seven pages of Nexus #99, which ships in July (see 'Nexus #99 Out in July').   

Baron explained the decision to include excerpts from past issues in the FCBD intro book.  'We're doing excerpts because so much of this material didn't get wide distribution, particularly Dude's pioneering work on the later First issues,' he said.  'Another reason we're doing excerpts is because so many of them show what the comic is about:  life, love, revenge, madness.'
