Rosen Publishing has announced a series of four volumes of interviews with graphic novelists conducted by veteran comics journalist Bill Baker. The Talking with Graphic Novelists series will release in library-bound hardcover editions in September, also distributed to comic stores by Diamond. Cover price for the 96-page 5.5' x 8.5' volumes wi8ll be $22.95. The four subjects are Alan Moore, George Perez, Michael Avon Oeming, and Neil Gaiman.
Rosen will also release two new graphic novel series, one of six titles and one of four, joining its spring releases (see 'Rosen Announces 12 Titles for 2007') to bring the company's output this year to 22 graphic novel volumes. Both series will be released in both library-bound and trade paperback editions.
The Graphic Discoveries series of 48-page volumes will retail for $11.95 in trade paperback, and for $21.95 in library editions. The six titles are Ancient Treasures, Fantastic Fossils, History of Flight, Incredible Space Missions, Medical Breakthroughs, and Spectacular Shipwrecks.
The Graphic Dinosaurs series of 32-page volumes will retail for $9.95 in trade paperback, and for $18.95 in library hardcover editions. The four titles are Pteranodon: Giant of the Sky, Triceratops: Three-Horned Dinosaur; Tyrannosaurus: Tyrant Lizard, and Velociraptor: The Speedy Thief.
