Hollywood's growing participation in the San Diego Comic-Con continues to yield dividends as Disney became the latest in a long line of studios to announce comic book/graphic novel deals in 2007.  The Mouse House has acquired the option to Scott Christian Sava's recently published 168-page graphic novel, Pet Robots ($19.95 ISBN:978-0978916824).  Chris Bender and J.C. Spink are developing the project under their Benderspink banner, with Jake Weiner and Jon Silk co-producing.

Scott Christian Sava founded Blue Stream Studios where he has worked on numerous animation projects as well as videogames featuring Spider-Man, X-Men, Alien vs. Predators and Casper the Friendly Ghost.  In 2006 he began expanded Blue Stream's mission to include publishing and the company has already released Ed Terrestrials, The Dreamland Chronicles, and Pet Robots.

Pet Robots is a delightful all ages comedy/adventure about four kids who visit the Rooty Tooty Toy Company only to find that they have been followed home by four military robots.
