The Cartoon Network is planning a sneak preview of Viz Media's Blue Dragon anime series at 11.30am (ET, PT) on Friday, March 28th and again on the Saturday night Toonami block at 10:30pm (ET, PT).  The Blue Dragon anime series features character designs by Akira Toriyama and is based on the Blue Dragon Xbox 360 videogame developed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy (see "Blue Dragon Anime on Cartoon Network").

Regular showings of the Blue Dragon anime will commence on the Cartoon Network in May.  This is clearly a multi-media property to watch closely--Bandai America is preparing to release a line of Blue Dragon toys later in the year (see "Bandai Preps Anime Toy Lines").
