According to his Website, Evan Dorkin, creator of the popular Milk & Cheese comic series, is working on a pilot for a new cartoon series for the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block.  Last year another Dorkin pilot, Welcome to Eltingville, which was based on comic stories that were collected in Dork #6 featuring socially inept, pop culture-obsessed teenagers, didn't make the cut at the Cartoon Network and was not picked up in spite of the fact that the show was very funny and steeped in the authentic lore of pop culture geekdom  (see 'Cartoon Network Dork Special').

In addition to a considerable amount of comic work (published by Slave Labor), Dorkin has written for several Cartoon Network staples including Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, and Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.
