Warner Home Video is preparing the release of Wonder Woman: The Complete First Season, a 3-disc DVD set featuring all 13 first season episodes starring the former Miss USA Lynda Carter as the Amazon Princess.  The suggested retail price of the set, which streets on June 29, is $39.98. 

 

The box set also includes the 90-minute movie pilot of the live action series based on Charles Moulton Marston's classic DC comic book.  Other special features include audio commentary on the pilot by Lynda Carter and executive producer Douglas Cramer as well as the never-before-seen documentary, Beauty, Brawn and Bulletproof Bracelets: A Wonder Woman Retrospective.

 

The Wonder Woman TV series premiered on ABC in December of 1976 and lasted through three seasons.  In the TV series Major Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner) brought Wonder Woman back to Washington, where she was known as Yeoman Diana Prince and worked as secretary in the U.S War Department by day, while fighting crime in her off hours.
