Tokyopop is developing two animated series based on properties it publishes in the U.S.  Stray Sheep, which originated as interstitial programming on Japanese TV, has been developed as an animated series by Craig Bartlett, who created and wrote Hey Arnold and Johnny Bravo.  Tokyopop published several children's books and released a DVD collecting the animated shorts in 2003 (see 'Tokyopop Does Children's Book Line').

An animated series based on Karma Club, an Ameri-manga title by D.J. Milky, is being written by Emmy Award-winner Mark Seidenberg (Jackie Chan Advenures).
