Synch-Point, the production division of Broccoli International USA, will release Aquarian Age the Movie in standard and limited editions this spring.  The Limited Edition version, which is limited to 10,000 units, will street on March 22nd at $59.95.  In addition to the DVD of the anime feature, the package will include a limited edition trading card box and Aquarian Age TCG cards, the Aquarian Age the Movie Soundtrack, the Aquarian Age - Juvenile Orion Graphic Novel Volume 1, and three Aquarian Age Juvenile Orion keychains featuring Kaname, Isshin and Naoya.

 

The Standard Edition will street on April 19th at $29.95.  The DVD will include the same extras as those on the Limitd Edition DVD:  creditless opening and ending, subbed and dubbed versions, an Aquaraing Age Trading Card Game Tutorial Featurette, Japanese promos for the TCG, an illustration gallery of art from the TCG, and a bonus info booklet with character profiles, faction info, soundtrack notes, and story epilogues. 

 

The Aquarian Age movie, which is based on the Japanese trading card game, is from Madhouse (Metropolis, Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll), with character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto (Macross, Gundam).

 

Aquarian Age has already gained a significant audience in the U.S. through the release of the manga and the anime series (see 'ADV Preps First Volume of Aquarian Age').
