ICv2 has learned that Score Entertainment is planning on randomly inserting two Rumiko Takahashi signed cards in each remaining release of the Inuyasha TCG in 2005, which includes the fourth set Yokai (set for an August 3rd release) and the as-yet-un-named Set Five (due out on November 2).  The autographed cards will only be available in First Edition product. The cards (see image) will include an actual signature by the creator of Inuyasha, Ranma, Maison Ikkoku, and Mermaid Forest -- on the rare occasions that she has released products with her signature in Japan, the 'autographs' were just copies of her signature.  No previous Takahashi autographed merchandise has ever been released in North America.

As reported previously on ICv2 (see 'Rumiko Takahashi Autograph Cards'), Takahashi will sign stickers that will be placed on one-of-a-kind cards each of which will feature alternative art.

Takahashi's Inuyasha manga is one of the best-selling series in North America, and the Inuyasha anime series, which is a staple of the Cartoon Network's popular Adult Swim block, has spawned two feature films, one released in 2004 and the other in 2005, each of which has sold over 100,000 copies and ranked second in DVD sales among all anime releases (see 'Inuyasha Movie 3 Scheduled').
