Graphic Novels Drive Growth in November

Periodicals Near Flat

Graphic novels had a great month in the comic store channel in November, with sales up 23% from the same period a year ago.  The robust growth from graphic novels dragged up a relatively anemic periodical segment (up 3%) to an over-all 13% growth for the comics and graphic novels category.
