Volume One of Tokyopop's Cine-Manga adaptation of Avatar:  The Last Airbender has sold over 500,000 copies, powered by sales through Scholastic Book Fairs.  This title joins previous Tokyopop Cine-Manga bestsellers Spongebob Squarepants (see 'Scholastic Sells Half a Million Spongebob Cine-Manga') and Totally Spies (see 'Total Spies Cine-Manga Boffo'), which have sold over 500,000 and 200,000, respectively.

The top sellers in the Tokyopop Cine-Manga line, which uses animation (or photo) images as the visuals for the comic versions of the stories, are among the best-selling graphic novels of all time.
