One Press announced three licensed titles around San Diego Comic-Con International, including one tied to the red-hot Colbert Report.  Joe Nozemack, publisher of Oni Press, confirmed to ICv2 that his company has the license to publish comics based on three media properties.  They are:

  • Tek Janson, the lead character in fictional host Stephen Colbert's unpublished science fiction novel in Comedy Central's Colbert Report
  • Jumper, a 2007 feature film starring Samuel Jackson
  • NBC series My Name Is Earl, with involvement by series script coordinator Hunter Covington.

All are scheduled for Q1 2007 launch.
