At Otakon Digital Manga Publishing announced the January, 2007 publication of Flower of Life.  The creator of the popular Antique Bakery manga, Fumi Yoshinaga wrote and illustrated Flower of Life, which follows the trials and tribulations of a student who gets a new lease on life after recovering from a life-threatening illness. Other DMP titles slated for 2007 include Megami DX (June), a mook (a combination of a magazine and a book) featuring art from famous bishoujo (beautiful girl) anime and manga series, and a manga version of Vampire Hunter D (December, see 'Vampire Hunter D Manga').

 

DMP has also announced seven new yaoi titles for publication under its June imprint in 2007 including Moon and Scandals by Fumi Yoshinaga (see above), Kurashina Sensei's Passion by Shino Natshho, La Vie in Rose by Suakurako Yamada, Waru by Yukare Hashida, Wagamama Kitchen by Kaori Monchi, Fake Fur by Satomi Yamagata, and The Paradise on the Hill by Momoko Tenzen.

 

The parent company of Digital Manga Publishing, Digital Manga Inc., also announced the formation of a separate company called 801 Media Inc., which will focus on bringing yaoi manga for a more mature audience to the U.S.
