Stan Lee's Pow Entertainment has inked a deal with NBC Universal that will result in a second expanded season of the reality series, Who Wants To Be a Superhero.  The series, which was a summer hit on the Sci-Fi Channel this year, will be expanded from six to ten episodes for its second season.

During its first season this summer the show doubled the time period's year-to-date numbers in the all-important 18-34 demographic, and brought an estimated 2.9 new viewers to the Sci-Fi Channel including lots of young viewers.  Thirty percent of the show's audience was under 18, and the series' median age of 31.9 was 14 years younger than Sci-Fi's primetime average.

The winner of the first season of Who Wants To Be a Superhero was 'Feedback,' aka Matthew Atherton, whose Feedback character will star in its own Dark Horse comic book that is due out in late November.
