The Cartoon Network's November schedule is not without its quirks -- Marvel's new FF series, which was airing twice on Saturdays, isn't slated to air this month, and the .hack//Roots anime series is getting a backdoor, 'otaku-set-your-TiVos' debut at 5 am in the morning on Saturday November 11th.

The 26-episode .hack//Roots anime was produced by Bee Train and broadcast in Japan from April to September of this year.  The .hack//Roots anime takes place seven years after the events of the first wave of .hack video games, and functions as a prequel to the new .hack//G.U. videogames.  In 2015 a fire destroys the CC Corporation, but by splicing together elements from other potential games, in 2016 the CC Corp is able to release The World R:2, a new version of the all-encompassing game with new perils for the players.
