McFarlane Toys has inked an agreement with Warner Bros. Licensing that will provide the toy manufacturer with the rights to create action figures based on the classic 1966 animated movie, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which was directed by the great Chuck Jones.  The animated movie (as well as the more recent live action film starring Jim Carey) was based on the children's book written by the legendary Dr. Seuss (Theodore Geisel).

McFarlane Toys is planning a range of three- and six-inch scale action figures based on key scenes from the film, including Two Sizes Too Small (the Grinch standing with hands on hips), You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch (the Grinch stealing the children's stockings from the mantle of a Whoville fireplace), All I Need is a Reindeer (the Grinch placing antlers on his dog), Cindy Lou Who (everybody's favorite Who), and Mount Crumpet Box Set (the Grinch and Max with overburdened sleigh).  The figures will include play action features and are scheduled to be in stores in October.
