John Weddleton of Bosco's in Anchorage, AK on FCBD sent in his FCBD comments:

We had our biggest crowd ever.  We mailed a postcard to a couple thousand comic buying customers and ran $450 in TV commercials using the FCBD commercial.

The store was much busier than a usual Saturday.  Sales were maybe 10-15% over a typical Saturday.  It's clear we don't get an immediate payback on the costs.  Like any advertising, it's hard to quantify the benefits.

For several years we have donated loads of FCBD comics to local libraries.  They publicize it fairly well and wear the FCBD T-shirts we provide.  We also donated 500 comics and bags to a popular 'Bike for Women' on Sunday the 6th.
