Retailer Barry Branvold of Barry's Collectors Corner in Grand Forks, North Dakota saw the news of Will Eisner's death (see 'In Memoriam: Will Eisner') and sent us his thoughts:

I would echo the sentiments of Kirby Tardy regarding the new fans that Will Eisner greeted at shows (see 'Kirby Tardy of Collector's Corner on Will Eisner'). My wife (who did not even know who he was) spoke with him for at least 15 minutes at a Diamond seminar where Kitchen Sink had him as a guest. Will always seemed to be at every show I've ever attended. He seemed tireless in his devotion to the hobby. He was a regular attendee at the AACC dinners and was one of the nicest men I ever met. He will be missed.
