Artist Brian Postman saw the news of Will Eisner's death (see 'In Memoriam: Will Eisner') and sent us his recollections:

I was one of Will's earliest students at S.V.A. (1977-1980).  Not only did I find him to be a great person, but he shared his tremendous knowledge on construction, storytelling, inking, etc.  He always had a calm and generous demeanor.  When I became a professional penciler for Marvel, he one day called me up to sub for his class at the school of visual arts.  I would see him from time to time over the years and he was always a warm, generous person.  With his vitality, I always expected him to live to 100!  I will greatly miss him.  I do storyboards now, and use many basic principles he taught me.
