Dean Phillips of Krypton Comics in Omaha, Nebraska has seen high demand for Sin City trade paperbacks (see 'Sin City Trades Take Off'), but can't get enough to sell (see 'Paul Stock of Librairie Astron on Sin City Trades'):

Today alone, Krypton Comics had to turn at least ten customers, three of which were new to the hobby, away due to lack of Sin City trade paperbacks.  Every day for about a week now this has been the case. Sin City has really captured the general public's attention.  Joe Public is going into a comic book store.  These last three weeks were our time to sell Sin City trades.  In the next week or so, all you will hear about is Star Wars.  Dark Horse really dropped the ball on this one.  I have been forced to prematurely take the EMPTY Sin City display down (located in the very front of the store).  Unfortunately, I have replaced  the Sin City display with a Star Wars one.  Please Dark Horse, don't screw this one up also.
