Comic and game retailer Gordon Lee of Legends in Rome, Georgia, passed away on Sunday.  He was 54.  Lee was involved in two obscenity cases over the last 20 years; he was defended in both by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.  The most recent case was finalized in 2008, when charges were dropped in a case in which a free comic with non-erotic male nudity was inadvertently given to a minor by a representative of the store (see "Gordon Lee Charges Dropped").
The earlier case, in the 90s, involved comics with sexual content sold to adults.  Lee was convicted in that case (see "CBLDF Takes Georgia Obscenity Case").
