Dreamworks has released the first two teaser posters for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, Steven Spielberg’s motion-capture adaptation of the Herge graphic novel. Spielberg’s film, which is the most eagerly-awaited comic book adaptation of the year in most parts of the world (though not in the U.S.), opens on December 23rd in the U.S (two months after it debuts in Europe in October). The international one-sheet features the hero in his signature blue sweater and plus-fours astride the globe with a 1930s seaplane on one side and a sailing ship (the “Unicorn” of the title) on the other.

Domestic Poster
Ain’t It Cool News also premiered the domestic one-sheet for the new Tintin movie, which is being produced by Peter Jackson, who will direct the second Tintin film. This design, with Tintin and Snowy walking away from a docked Unicorn in the moonlight, is even more evocative.
