New York Comic Con News—At the New York Comic Con Yen Press announced manga adaptations of works by two bestselling authors Sherrilyn Kenyon and Cassandra Clare.  Yen will create a two-volume manga adaptation of Kenyon’s Chronicles of Nick, a prequel to Kenyon’s Dark-Hunter novels.  Yen Press’ adaptation of the Chronicles of Nick, which will be entitled Dark-Hunters: Infinity, will be first serialized in Yen’s monthly online anthology magazine Yen Plus with the publication of the first volume of the manga in paper slated for the fall of 2012.
 
Yen is also planning manga adaptations of Cassandra Clare’s The Infernal Devices trilogy with art by HyeKyung Baek.  The Infernal Devices is a standalone trilogy set in the world of her The Mortal Instruments series. The heroine of The Infernal Devices is Tessa Gray, a16-year-old American traveling in Victorian London who gets caught up in the supernatural underworld of the great city.  As is the case with Dark Hunters: Infinity, the manga adaptation of The Infernal Devices will be serialized in Yen’s monthly online anthology magazine Yen Plus with the publication of the first volume in paper set for the fall of 2012.
