Alderac Entertainment Group has announced the card game Seventh Hero for its Big in Japan line, to release this summer.
Designed by Kuro, the hand management game involves players attempting to collect six of seven prophesied heroes to end the reign of Maedoc the Corruptor. Cards are numbered 1 -7, with each number representing a different hero. Players send a card around, face down, but with some hints to what card it is. Players must choose to recruit the hero or pass. The goal is to collect six of the seven heroes before the deck runs out; in which case, the player with the most heroes wins.
The game is for 3-5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. The box contains 77 cards, 5 reference cards, and a rulebook. MSRP is $19.99.
