Elden Henson has been announced in the role of Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock’s best friend and legal partner, for the Netflix series Marvel’s Daredevil.

Henson’s Hollywood career spans most of his life, including childhood roles in the three Mighty Ducks movies as Fulton Reed, as well as appearing in The Butterfly Effect, Déjà Vu, and in the upcoming Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and 2 movies as Pollux.

"Elden plays one of the most important characters in the world of Marvel’s Daredevil, and we’re thrilled to see Foggy Nelson brought to life by such an incredibly talented actor," said Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television.  "He perfectly captures the heart and soul of this series, bringing an added resonance to Matt Murdock’s fight against the injustice in their great city."

The news comes barely a week after the announcement of Rosario Dawson in an unnamed recurring role (see "Rosario Dawson Joins 'Daredevil' Cast"), who joins Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin.
