Fantasy Flight Games will release two expansions focusing on elemental magic for its Dungeon Fighter board game (see "'Dungeon Fighter' Board Game") "soon," the company announced. Fire at Will will focus on fire magic, and The Big Wave on water magic. Both will retail for $29.95.
Dexterity is important in the expansions; players must roll a die down the length of the waterfall prop in The Big Wave, and over the firewall prop in Fire at Will. Players will be able to accumulate experience points to use in purchasing elemental magic spells, including the Ritual of Flames and the Dragon’s Belch in Fire at Will, and Fresh Waterfall and Cry Me a River in The Big Wave.
New dungeon sheets will transform the dungeon into a location deep between the Fire Mountains in Fire at Will, and into a seaside cave near a noxious swamp in The Big Wave.
The expansions can be played separately (with the main game) or combined.
