Here’s a two-minute clip from Disney’s Big Hero 6 that appeared on the ABC TV special The Story of Frozen last night.  The clip shows how robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada accidentally summoned Baymax, Hamada’s "personal health care companion."  The cause of this first encounter turns out to be a stubbed toe, and the humor is apparent to anyone who has visited the doctor with and injury or a chronic condition and then been asked to "rate" their pain on a scale of 1-10.

The feature-length 3-D computer-animated Big Hero Six will debut nationwide in theaters on November 7th.  Though the character of Baymax was created by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau and first appeared in Alpha Flight #17 in 1998, Marvel is not reprinting its Big Hero 6 miniseries, nor any of the Japanese-produced Big Hero 6 manga, which appears to be closer in spirit to the film than the original Marvel incarnation of the characters.  Yen Press, not Marvel, will release the Big Hero 6 manga here in the U.S. (see "Yen Gets 'Big Hero 6' Manga").
