Andrew Adamson, who directed the first two Chronicles of Narnia movies, is attached to direct an adaption of the 2013 Dark Horse miniseries Breath of Bones, which was written by Steve Niles, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting.

The three-issue story, which was collected earlier this year in a hardcover graphic novel, was written by Niles (30 Days of Night) and Matt Santoro, with art by Dave Wachter (The Guns of Shadow Valley, Godzilla).  In the WWII story, a British plane crashes in a Jewish village and a local rabbi and his grandson build a Golem to defend themselves from the Nazis drawn by the crash.

Adamson also directed the first two Shrek films, as well as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian.  Dark Horse’s Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg will produce with Adamson and Aron Warner.  Jeff Fierson will executive produce.
