After an earlier announcement that actor Victor Garber was joining the cast of The Flash as DC Comics character Dr. Martin Stern (see "Alias Star Victor Garber Joins 'The Flash'"), comes word that another DC Comics character will make his live-action TV debut on the new CW series.  Pied Piper (aka Hartley Rathaway), a character created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino in the Silver Age, made a big splash in the 1990s when writers Bill Messner-Loebs and Mark Waid had him come out as gay.  Actor Andy Milentus will play the Pied Piper on The Flash for a two-episode run in episodes 11 and 12 of Season 1 according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.

In The Flash, the Pied Piper character will be a former STAR Labs technician, who is out for revenge against STAR Labs CEO Dr. Harrison Wells (played by Tom Cavanagh).  The Flash premiered on Tuesday with the biggest debut on the CW network since The Vampire Diaries in 2009 (see "'The Flash' Posts the Best CW Debut in 5 Years").
