VIZ Media announced two new shojo manga series that will debut in the second half of 2015: Maki Minami’s Komomo Confiserie in September and new editions of Hiro Fujiwara’s Maid-sama! in November.

Manga-ka Maki Minami’s (Special A, Voice Over! Seiyu Academy) new series, Komomo Confiserie is the story of a once-rich girl Komomo Ninomiya, who used to boss her family’s servants around, especially the son of the family pastry chef, Natsu Azumi.  Ten years later, the destitute Komomo asks Natsu , now a master pastry chef, to help her.  He does, but she has to work for him at his new confiserie.

Hiro Fujiwara’s Maid-sama!  was previously released by Tokyopop, and peaked at #8 on the Top 10 Shojo Properties chart in 2011 (see "Top 10 Shojo Properties--Q1 2011").  The VIZ release will include new translations for Vols. 1-8, which will be released in the 2-in-1 format.  The story follows Misaki Ayuzawa, the class president at a predominately male high school.  The overachieving brainiac has a secret; she works after school at a maid café, and school heartthrob Takumi Usui just found out about her double life.

Last month VIZ announced two other series for 2015 (see "VIZ Media Announces 'Tokyo Ghoul'"), and also recently commented on the North American release schedule for the Naruto finale (see "'Naruto' Finale").
