Marvel has announced a New Year’s Eve Launch Party kit for the December 31 launch of S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 (see "Mark Waid Writing New 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Series").  The event will include access to a variant cover, trading cards and Skottie Young lithographs.
 
The event-exclusive Deadpool Party Variant cover will be done by John Tyler Christopher.  Other incentive variant covers will include a photo variant featuring Agent Coulson and Agent May from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,  a Skottie Young variant, a Mike Deodato variant, and a set of six variant covers from the All-New Young Guns (see "Marvel Announces 2014 'All-New Young Guns'").

Other event materials include two-sided S.H.I.E.L.D. trading cards, and lithograph packs of the Skottie Young variant cover.  Retailers will also be able to order free bundles of the Marvel 2015 Calendar (the calendar is available for purchase for non-participant retailers).
