No Script Agreement

Joss Whedon has revealed on his Website that he's off the Wonder Woman movie.  He left over a disagreement on the direction of the script. 'I had a take on the film that, well, nobody liked,' his post said.

Whedon was first associated with the film in March of 2005 (see 'Buffy Scribe Tapped for Wonder Woman Script').

Warners recently acquired a spec script for the film, supposedly to take it off the market (see 'Warners Buys Wonder Woman Script').

Whedon also revealed that his choice for the title character had been Cobie Smulders.
