Mezco Toyz will release its first series of Underdog Vinyl Action Figures in July just prior to the release of the new live action/CGI Underdog feature film (see 'Mouse House Fighting All Who Rob and Plunder') in August. But the Underdog movie won't be the only sales driver for Mezco's action figures -- the original classic Underdog cartoons will be released in conjunction with the release of the film, and a new updated, hip hop-infused 26 episode Underdog cartoon series written by Jordan Allen-Dutton and Eric Weiner (Robot Chicken) will debut on TV this fall.
The first series of Mezco Underdog Vinyl Action Figures includes Underdog, Sweet Polly Purebred, Riff Raff, and Simon Barsinister. Each figure comes with cool retro clamshell packaging multiple points of articulation, interchangable arms and hands and character-appropriate accessories.
