Wendy Pini has signed to write and draw The Masque of the Red Death, a new original graphic novel series, for Go! Comi.  The storyline, a science fiction retelling of the classic Poe short story, will be considerably darker than Pini's Elfquest series, featuring strong Gothic horror, erotica, and yaoi-style gay relationships. 

The work will premier as a Webcomic, hosted by Go! Comic, and be collected into graphic novels as sufficient pages are accumulated. 

Go! Comi has previously published only Japanese manga (see 'Go! Comi's Four New Manga Series'), but notes that Pini's strongly manga-influenced work over the past 30 years will be a good fit for its line.
