Warner Home Video has announced the July 24th release of the Spawn Ultimate 10th Anniversary Edition ($39.98), a deluxe four-disc box set that includes all 18 episodes of the Spawn animated series that aired on HBO in 1997.  The Spawn Ultimate Tenth Anniversary Edition features more than three hours of extras including storyboards, character profiles, and a lengthy interview with Spawn creator Todd McFarlane.

Every episode in the groundbreaking animated series that freed superhero animation from the shackles of Saturday morning self-censorship and paved the way for the more mature direct-to-DVD releases of today, has been re-mastered and color enhanced to provide a razor sharp image with deep, rich hues; and the soundtrack has been updated to Dolby 5.1.  To top it all off, Todd McFarlane broke out the pencils and provided a striking Spawn image for the cover.
