The CW Network cancelled Veronica Mars after three seasons (one from CW), ending a cult hit with merchandising potential.  DVDs and trading cards from Inkworks will take a while to work through the existing backlog.  It seems unlikely that the show will find another home, according to reports that indicate the writers are accepting other offers..

CW renewed Smallville for a seventh season and Supernatural for a third. 

It will premiere a new show called Reaper, exec-produced by Kevin Smith, about a slacker whose parents accidentally sold his soul to the devil, forcing him to become the devil's bounty hunter.
