According to Variety, Fox's hit animated series, Family Guy is doing an hour-long Star Wars parody for its fifth season premiere this fall. Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is a big Star Wars fan and contacted Lucasfilm to seek approval for the episode, which will be based on the first Star Wars movie.

Peter Griffin will play Han Solo, Lois will be Princess Leia, and evil baby Stewie will be Darth Vader. 

Lucasfilm has been receptive to humorous treatments of its IP, allowing mash-ups using clips, and providing a home for past fan videos on its Websiite (see 'Star Wars Has Blow-Out 30th').
