Mongoose Publishing announced it is has acquired the rights to update, re-illustrate and re-release the 28-book series of Lone Wolf game books by Joe Dever, originally launched in the 80s.  A 450-page Flight From the Dark will be available through distributors in September and new releases in the series will become available about every six-to-eight weeks culminating with four all-new releases (books 29-32) also written by Dever.

 

Hardcover collector's copies will be available directly from Mongoose starting in July, and those who buy the entire series of collector's editions will also receive free collector's editions of the Lone Wolf novels, Agarashi and Lencian Trilogies.

 

Mongoose also recently announced it has the rights to create roleplaying games based on Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion books, starting with Hawkmoon, by Gareth Hanrahan on June 11th and Elric of Melnibone, by Lawrence Whitaker on July 2nd. 

 

The Eternal Champions RPGs will use the RuneQuest system and can be played both on their own and are compatible with the rest of the RuneQuest line.
