Titan will release Spider-Man:  The Icon, a gigantic 320-page full color hardcover with dustjacket, in October.  This history of the character by Steve Saffel, formerly of Marvel Comics and Del Rey Books, spans Spidey's full history from his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy through the movie releases.  It will feature never-before-seen art form the Spider-Man cartoons, interviews with Stan Lee, Sam Raimi, and others, and lots of full-color photos of Spider-Man collectibles.  The book will be cross-promoted with the Spider-Man 3 DVD.  MSRP is $49.95.

My Boring-Ass Life:  The Uncensored Diary of Kevin Smith will appear in September, supported by an author tour, press campaign, promotion on Smith's site, and advertising in the entertainment press.  The source material is Smith's blog postings during the production and release of Clerks II.

The first Tank Girl novel, Armadillo!, by original comic writer Alan C. Martin, will ship in November.  The new comic series from IDW (see 'Tank Girl Revived') is bringing some attention to the property.

Titan is also planning to publish a Nemi collection, featuring the newspaper strips of this goth-tinged property early next year in the States, after a fall release in the U.K.  Strips based on this 10-year-old property, created by Lisa Myhre, run daily in the Metro newspaper in the UK, and another 120 newspapers, magazines, and Websites across Europe.
