Anime Network announced that it has finalized five new cable carrier agreements that will bring the 24-hour anime channel to 200,000 new linear cable subscribers with Bresnan (Midwest), Hawaiian Telecom (Hawaii), BendBroadband (Oregon), BELD Broadband (Massechusetts) and Volcano Vision (California). 

Anime Network is currently the largest video-on-demand (VOD) anime channel, available to about 31 million households and has been making inroads on the linear cable front, too (see 'Anime Network Expands in Texas').
