Arcana Studio's GearHead, by Dennis Hopeless and Kevin Mellon, has been optioned by Darius Films. GearHead is a teenage girl that digs hot rods in a world of superhero politicians and electric cars.  

Darius is a Toronto-based production company with over a dozen films in its portfolio, with music 'mock-umentary' The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico and Weirdsville perhaps its best known releases.  Cory Kinney, who directed short films The Chair and The Sparkle Lite Motel is attached.
