Virgin Comics is relaunching the venerable British comic character Dan Dare,  first introduced in the 50s in Eagle, in a new comic series in November written by Garth Ennis, with art by Gary Erskine. 

According to Variety, Virgin has also picked up the movie, videogame, and TV rights to the character.  CAA is packaging a feature film.
