Steven Moffat has been hired to write the Tintin feature trilogy (see 'Peter Jackson, Spielberg to Direct Tintin Movies'), according to Hollywood Reporter.  Moffat comes to the scripts with a background primarily from British television, where he wrote episodes for Doctor Who, Coupling, and Jeckyll, among others.

One Tintin volume will not be appearing in the States; Little Brown has removed Tintin in the Congo from its fall list, according to Publishers Weekly.  The title was facing separation from other volumes on the racks, because at least one U.S. chain had determined that it could not be racked in the children's section (see 'U.S. Border Stores Follow UK Lead').
