Jim Butcher's Dresden Files novels will be adapted into comic form by Dabel Brothers Productions, according to an announcement on Butcher's Website.  Butcher will assist in writing the comics and approving the art and design.  He will have 'full creative input and influence,' the announcement said.

Each of the novels will be adapted into 12 to 16 'monthly' comic issues (which may include some side stories), which will then be collected into graphic novels.

The is the second literary licensing announcement since the Dabels broke with Marvel (see 'Dabel Brothers Move On Again'); Dean Koontz was the first (see 'Dabels Do Koontz').
