Geneon Entertainment is closing down its Geneon Spot Fan Club, but, in a message to the members of the club, Geneon President & CEO Eiji Orii revealed continued efforts to at least finish the company's current series by noting: 'At this time, we are internally discussing plans to explore all available options to continue distribution of Geneon titles, both old and new, at a later date.  However nothing is certain at this time.  We will release more information to the public once we have any concrete plans, if any.'

Late last month after its distribution agreement with ADV broke down, Geneon effectively canceled all releases that had street dates beyond November 6th, an action that left numerous anime series in limbo (see 'Geneon Ankles American Anime Industry').
