MTV News reported over the weekend that David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) had been signed by Warner Bros. to direct the Flash feature, replacing Shawn Levy, who took over from David Goyer (see 'Flash News: Goyer Out, Levy In').

Dobkin revealed that the film will tie into the JLA film (see 'Miller Musters Young Americans') and be a direct spin-off.  He also revealed that the movie will feature the Wally West version of the character.
