Green Ronin has announced 2008 plans for its True20 Adventure Roleplaying system, and the big news is that a revised True20 core rulebook will be released in April.  The new book, True20 Adventure Roleplaying, Revised Edition, will not be new rules, but will  replace the sample settings with the entire True20 Companion and include all the errata for both books.  The Revised Edition will be a trade paperback at a $29.95 MSRP. 

Three other releases for the True20 system are planned for 2008.  Experts Handbook will release in February, and the Adepts Handbook and Warrior's Handbook will release later this year. 

Green Ronin also announced that fees for use of the True20 system will be eliminated; other companies will be able to use the system under the current Open Game License. 

The True20 system was created for Blue Rose:  The Roleplaying Game of Romantic Fantasy, but the rule set is a fit for all genres.
